Testimonials

Goldberg General Contracting, Inc. has relied upon Apex Electric to be part of our building team on numerous residential projects including new homes and renovation projects. Alex Kmiec (president) distinguishes himself from other electrical contractors in his diligent attention to detail, his broad field experience, and his knowledge of local electrical codes. His firm has become an important asset to us and has always made a great impression on the architect and home owner. Alex stays on top of every detail and collaborates with the building team to find solution to project challenges.

We first met Alex working on high-end custom projects together on the North Shore of Chicago more than 6 years ago. In that time, we have grown to use Alex and APEX ELECTRIC exclusively for all of our electrical contracting and servicing needs. In a sea of many contractors, Alex stands out as a calm professional, proficient in his work, and dedicated to excellence. We trust Alex with our customers, our friends, and our own home.

I have worked with Alex (Apex Electric) for over 6 years and have always been more than satisfied with his work, which was always done with a high level of quality and attention to detail. I was always impressed that he checked his work before he called a job complete; I have seen many other contractors who assume it is correct and leave.

He did extensive work on my 100+ year old house, including upgrading to 200 amp service and doing major rewiring, always with the utmost quality and integrity, and without making a mess of the plaster walls.

When presented with a challenge, he always stepped up to the plate, finding a way to resolve some pretty odd issues. He is also a good trouble shooter; like the time we lost power to several living room outlets and the breaker was not tripped (it turned out to be an old in-line fuse buried in a finished ceiling in the basement).

Without hesitation, I would recommend Alex for any size project.

Alex (Apex Electric) is a top-notch electrician who is prompt, responsive and does consistently excellent work; he’s definitely the subcontractor I would use if we were to contract out your electrical work.
